Frequently Asked Questions
Questions Before You Begin
What types of events does Axial Theory support?
Axial Theory supports weddings, private celebrations, destination gatherings, milestone events, and select corporate experiences. Each event is considered based on its needs, context, logistics, and overall fit.
Do you only work with weddings?
No. Weddings are a significant part of the work, but Axial Theory also supports social celebrations, multi-day gatherings, private events, and select corporate functions.
What if I am still deciding on a location or venue?
That is completely fine. Many clients begin before a location or venue has been selected. Axial Theory can provide guidance as options are considered and priorities become clearer.
Can Axial Theory assist if planning has already begun?
Yes. Some clients begin with Axial Theory early, while others seek support after key decisions have already been made. Support can be shaped around the current stage of planning.
Can Axial Theory review plans that are already in place?
Yes. Existing plans, vendor selections, timelines, logistics, and outstanding items can be reviewed to help identify areas that may need additional attention before the event.
What if I only need support during the final stages of planning?
Final-stage support may be available for clients who do not need assistance throughout the entire planning process but want additional review, organization, and coordination before the event.
Do you offer concierge support?
Concierge support may be available depending on the event and client needs. The level of support varies by engagement.
Do you travel for events?
Yes. Axial Theory is available for domestic and international events. Travel requirements are discussed as part of determining the appropriate structure of support.
Do you work with events of all sizes?
Yes. Event size is only one consideration. Complexity, guest experience, logistics, timing, and overall event requirements are often more important than guest count alone.
How far in advance should I reach out?
Earlier is usually better, especially for destination events or dates with limited availability. However, Axial Theory may also support clients who are already actively planning.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?
After an inquiry is received, the event details are reviewed and a consultation may be scheduled. If the engagement is an appropriate fit, next steps will be discussed.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing is determined by the scope of support, event requirements, location, timeline, and level of involvement requested. Proposals are prepared individually.
Do clients pay vendors directly?
Yes. Clients maintain direct contractual and financial relationships with their selected vendors. Axial Theory does not collect or distribute vendor payments on behalf of clients.
Can I continue working with vendors I have already selected?
Yes. Axial Theory can work alongside vendors that have already been selected, provided the arrangement supports the event’s needs and planning objectives.
